About Phos

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Phos is about worshiping Jesus. It's about taking a stand and making a commitment. Phos is about the need to understand why we are here, what we're supposed to be doing and how to go about getting it done.

Phos is three fold:

  • Five-Week Sermon Series.
  • Worship Gathering (Fri 30th of October 2010).
  • Cell Group Gatherings

The Phos Worship Event

The theme is Jesus Christ "The Light of The World", hence the name "Phos" which is Greek for Light. Who's leading Worship this year?

Psa 24:9  Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Praise & Worship will be lead by ::harbourlight:: (the dots are important), made up of five guys from Johannesburg. Their vision is very much tied up with Psalm 24:7 they want their lives and music to be a vessel through which the King of Glory can come in. They are passionate about seeing broken lives restored in His presence, awakened to His Glory, and living a life that points others to it.
